Arguably the most romantic restaurant in Canmore, the menu here will blow you away. Specialty wild game dishes such as bison sirloin, which goes beautifully with a glass of Ant Moore Pinot Noir, will hurt your wallet, but the experience is well worth it!
Other favorites at Iron Goat include the Alberta beef burger, stone-baked pizzas, and the butternut squash ravioli.
Rocket Pie

If you’re on the lookout for the best pizza in Canmore, Rocket Pie is perfect! Found on Old Canmore Rd, Rocket Pie is a casual restaurant that serves fantastic Italian cuisine.
The atmosphere is relaxed, but there’s no outdoor seating area, which is a shame considering the awesome views of the Rockies. This restaurant specializes in gourmet pizza or, as Rocket Pie calls it, “Pie.” Every pizza is made from a lovely homemade dough and prepared from scratch.
Our favorite is the Formaggi with gorgonzola and local honey. It’s also possible to personalize your pizza with extra toppings! Rocket Pie also serves meatballs, calzones, and lasagna if you’re not in the mood for pizza.
Kain Tayo

A recent addition to the food scene in Canmore, Kain Tayo is one of our favorite spots to try something new! Found off Main Street, this restaurant nails the global fusion concept, elevating fusion food to a new level.
It offers a laid-back dining experience across two dining rooms and an atmosphere described as “Mom’s Kitchen.” It’s a great place to enjoy a family meal and unwind.
Regarding food, there’s an extensive menu of street-style comfort food on offer.
The signature Sukiyaki Fries are the best in Bow Valley, the Caldereta is a twist on Filipino beef stew, and the Chinese roast crispy pork belly with kimchi fried rice is incredible!
Gaucho Brazilian Barbecue
Location: 629 8 St, Canmore

Gaucho Brazilian Barbecue, also on Main Street, is one of the best Canmore restaurants if you want a more unique dining experience. At this stylish restaurant, which features a small patio and a beautiful indoor seating area, food is served Rodízio style.
The barbecue chefs walk around each table with huge skewers of mouthwateringly tasty meats. Each chef carries a different cut of tender meat. Options include bottom sirloin, garlic top sirloin, Parmigiano beef, and much more.
To complement the delicious food, guests should order some side dishes. The fries and Brazilian white rice are great! Don’t forget to order a glass of red wine or one of the delicious beers too!
