VIRGIN BEACH BALI – The beautiful white sand Bali beach

Virgin beach in East Bali is one of the best white sand beaches with crystal clear waters in Bali. Tucked away in a gorgeous bay surrounded by green cliffs and waving palm trees, Virgin beach is pure treasure. The soft white sand and calm turquoise waters make it the perfect beach for swimming and relaxing. Despite that the beaches in Bali are mostly black sand, the Uluwatu beaches and some of the beaches along the east coast are an exception. Virgin beach became quickly some of our most favourite beaches in Bali. It definitely all the ingredients for a relaxing day on the beach. Best time to get to Virgin beach Bali

Virgin beach is located along Bali’s East coast which is sunrise side. So you can expect the most sunshine throughout the morning and early afternoon. Around 4 PM the sun disappears behind the mountains which leaves the beach in the shade. So to make the most out of your beach day at Virgin beach, I can advice you to come early in the morning, or early noon. Plan for example to have lunch at the beach and relax on the sun beds before and, or after. You won’t see sunset on this beach, so there’s no reason to stay until late afternoon for that.

Best tours to explore east Bali

If you want to explore the best of East Bali then it is highly recommended to book your tours in advance. Of course you can also explore the area by yourself if you are comfortable driving a motorbike. But if you book your tour you don’t have to think about anything else, you can just enjoy and take pictures. All of these tours include air conditioned transport with hotel pick up and drop off, certified guides and sometimes also lunch and the entrance fees. You can reserve now and pay later, with cancellation up to 24 hours in advance to receive a full refund.

What to expect at Virgin beach Bali

This beautiful hidden beach in Bali is a special place and perfect for the peace seekers. Tucked away in a bay and surrounded by green cliffs and waving palm trees, Virgin beach is pure treasure with paradise views. It’s not the ‘typical Bali beach’ you can see along the west coast. There is no development along the beach, just some local warungs serving Indo food and refreshing drinks, no big beach clubs and only some small bungalows as accommodation.

If you want to have a beach massage you can have that with one of the ladies that massage at Fishermans restaurant. But for the ones that prefer to be more active you can go snorkeling as the waters are crystal clear with healthy coral.
