What to expect at Lamai beach

Located on the South East coast of Koh Samui, this beach is the second most popular beach on the island. Luxury resorts and hotels are scattered along the coast and there are plenty of restaurants and food stalls. Famous for its nightlife, restaurants and vibrant atmosphere. This is just one of the Thai beaches you just have to visit when staying on Koh Samui.

There are plenty of sunbeds, and if you want to stay in the shade you can also rent an umbrella. On this beach, you can’t really find the fine sand as you might imagine having on a tropical beach. Here there is more coarse sand, but if you specifically want a beach with fine and soft sand, you have to go to Silver beach or Maenam beach.
