Strolling around the Canggu markets every week, buying fresh fruits, organic vegetables, hand made clothing and much more has become one of our favorite things to do in Canggu. There are so many amazing local brands which you can discover on some of the markets in Canggu. Besides that there are many great boutique shops where you can buy the latest tropical fashion. In this blog post you will find the 8 best markets in Canggu for all your Canggu shopping inspiration!

* Note that this blog post is updated mid 2022 so all the Canggu markets mentioned in this post are operational. There were many more markets in Canggu pre COVID such as La Laguna market, Tamora Gallery market, Old Mans market and Weekend Beach Garden market. But unfortunately they didn’t reopen and some of these venues even don’t exists anymore after the pandemic. 


Samadi Organic Sunday Market Canggu

Samadi Market is one of the most unique markets in Canggu because it is mainly focussed on  local organic foods and treats. Therefore is the Samadi market also known as the Organic Sunday market Canggu. From organic fruits, vegetables, endless amount of spices, nuts, home brewed Kombucha, fresh baked crispy bread to face creams and oils. There is so much to find and taste here! But that’s not all, because there is also a section where you can buy clothes, bikinis and jewellery.

It’s a perfect Sunday market in Canggu, especially if you’re staying long term and want to do some grocery shopping. But also if you don’t have to do any grocery shopping, you can still treat yourself with one of the tasty (but healthy!) snacks such as coconut chocolate cookies, pumpkin pie or a fresh organic coffee. What is a better way to start your Sunday morning of exploring in Canggu? Oh and don’t forget to try out the little cafe inside too!

La Brisa Sunday Market

The La Brisa market is a weekly initiative to support local farmers, suppliers, and small businesses from Bali. In the tropical and boho setting of La Brisa beach club there will be an array of organic products from baked goods, up cycled fashion from local brands, natural body products and zero waste products. It has a very cozy vibe and the setting of the market can’t be better surrounded by palm trees and close to the ocean.

Love Anchor market Canggu

The Love Anchor market is one of the most popular Canggu markets and is located on the busiest shopping street in Canggu: Batu Bolong! Here they sell everything from beach wear, summer dresses, home decoration, cute Bali bags and heaps of souvenirs and beautiful jewellery. While this market might be a bit pricier then the other street vendors you will find in Canggu, you do have the benefit of having all shops in one location. Making it easier to do your market shopping in one time and to find that perfect dress, skirt or shirt in the right colour and size. Also the perfect opportunity to try out your bargaining skills!

With the fairy lights in the evening, music playing and all happy faces around, the Love Anchor market is a real vibe and without a doubt one of the best markets in Canggu!

Bali Niki Natural Art Market Canggu

This much less touristy market can be found opposite of the Dojo Coworking Space very close to Echo Beach. A little out of the way from the main street of Batu Bolong, you will love to go shopping here because you won’t get the hustle and bustle of the other Canggu markets. There is more peace and quiet here but you will find lots of stuff like home decoration, Bali bags, locally made clothing and much more!

Where? Bali Niki Natural Art Market Canggu, Jl. Pantai Batu Mejan, Canggu

What to buy? Almost everything! From bamboo utensils, home decoration, Bali bags, locally made clothing and much more.

Shocked Dog market Batu Bolong

The Shocked Dog market on Batu Bolong is a daily pop up market with a small collection of clothes, jewellery, homeware, shirts and some more accessories. It’s opposite of Black Sand Brewery along Batu Bolong. If you need a quick bargain of basic clothes it’s just perfect to have a look. Don’t expect high quality clothes. It’s just a fun little market with some great items for a cheap price.

What to buy? Basic clothes, bracelets and other jewellery, sport bra’s, t-shirts
